Wasn't sure where to post this, but since it involves the console 'cheats' seemed the best location.

How come there are a lot of objects in the game that you can't select through the console? When selecting some items, rather than selecting them like it should, the console returns the message "Picked Non Ref AV Object". This makes it very difficult or impossible to manipulate or delete things that you would like to get rid of ... like rubble piles in a settlement like the Castle, or some of the default furniture in Covenant.

Is there a way around this through the console?
