What do you guys think?
No, no and no. And if yes at some point then for the love of god do it in full cinematic style, like FFVII Advent Children.
No, No No NO!!
Never, not in a million years. Not even after a Nuclear War. Hollywood cannot be trusted with something as epic as the Fallout Universe.
I watched an entertaining movie where a guy was in a coffin the entire time, one where some people were stuck in an elevator the entire time, and another where a guy was in a phone booth for most of the movie. It should be possible with the right people. Anyway, I voted 'no', because if you're going to spend millions upon millions of dollars on a thing, that thing should be a new game in a Bethesda series.
There are at least two Fallout movies already: Fallout 3 and Fallout 4. You can even star in them if you wish.
Hollywood started making movies from books and they were ok, then they made movies from other movies and they were really bad, now they start making movies about video games and they svck.

what this guy said... because trying to distill Fallout lore into a movie sounds like a bad idea (unless it's done in series)
And consider 'The Last of Us'. The guy who directed the game (Neil Druckmann) will be directing the film. Sounds good to me!
A movie isn't bad, but nothing canon please that affects the future lore. I'd much prefer something elaborating details of the past.
Am I the only person who thinks The Spirits Within was a fantastic film?
It should be a full on cinematic trilogy with the first movie taking place entirely before and ending with the nuclear annilation. The second film would take place slightly before, during and some time after the bombing to show how people survived (or didn't) outside of the vaults. The third film would show vault life and emergence from it.
Will likely never happen.
