3 basic symbles what exactly are they, shield symble, lightning bolt symble and radation symble

Shield is ballistic damage resistance (bullets and melee weapons), Lightning is energy resistance (Laser, Plasma and flame weapons), radiation symbol is radiation resistance (ambient radioactivity and gamma weapons).

Shield -- (physical) Damage Resistance

Lightning bolt -- Energy Resistance

Radiation symbol -- Radiation Resistance

Shield symbol is standard damage, Lightning is energy based damage, radiation is radiation damage, the little raindrop symbol i'm not sure but am guessing poison.

On armor if that's what you mean. Shield is damage resistance from bullets, bats, fists and stuff like that. Radiation symbol is just protection from radiation and lightning bolt is protection from energy based weapons.

Yeah, the raindrop is poison. Just picked up a Poisoner's Metal Chest piece last night with that symbol, plus 25 poison resistance.
