I stole power armor from the raiders then killed all the raiders in the area, however, when i get out of the armor and try to get back in, it still says "steal." im afraid if a take it to one of my settlements to store it and i try to get back into the armor that the settlers would attack me for stealing, how do i make it so that its mine and not stolen anymore?

Yup, I have a set that is glitched this way. Every time I touch it Codsworth gets pissed at me. I didn't even steal it, I shot the fusion core when he turned around and he had to get out, and then I killed him before I took it. Still showed stolen. I can't even use the parts because they all say stolen.

Just create a save ...then head back. At least if you get attacked..you can let us know. If you do get attacked...then maybe people can try to come up with a solution. No sense asking the question if you haven't tried to go back to find out if you do or don't get attacked. Just sayin'.
