Like said 10x before, the map is too small for that.

The main reason to have a vehicle isn't to get there fast, it's to get there fully loaded w/friends.
I submit that the perfect vehicle for this setting would basically be a land speeder without the speed. Imagine one of the car frames laying around outfitted with 10 Mr handy thrusters. Faster than run, slower than sprint and attracts unwanted attention but carries 1k weight and a passenger. Also should probably require repair and fuel like PA.
Vehicles i think and i always think will be a horrible idea of a game like Fallout bc u need to have alot of Flat zones to use it.
Right now im super happy with the Vertibird, minus some issues i find, but i love thie new travel mechanic and is nice to take a fly form Sanctuary to Boston Airport. and enjoy the view. Or middle of the fly get a warning about one of my settlements and change directions and land there and defend it.
I went with No because bicycles aren't the best choice for the Wasteland. Broken terrain, too many ambush locations, etc. Nor do they add much in the way in cargo capacity; an overloaded human would most likely collapse the frame. I'd prefer a donkey/Brahman cart over a bike any day. About as fast as a bike, but no pedaling required.
Vehicles don't belong to core Fallout. And before you point out the Highwayman from F2, that was just a container that sped up your map speed, no driving involved, unlike Tactics. It's an equivalent of fast travel in modern Fallouts.
Oh wait, cinematic dialogues and voiced protagonists also don't belong to core Fallout, neither does settling down and other things a certain "sequel" is plagued with.
Then sure! Let's have bikes, cars, and planes in F5. Hell, why stop there, throw in some radiation shouts and nuclear dragons as well!
I found an easy fix for that. Collect 1-5 movmentspeed armor prieces and u're a running... bicycle. o.o
Absolutely not, but not because I "want to take it slow," but because Bethesda struggles to keep NPCs from clipping/falling through things, can you imagine the problems they'd have with any form of derivable ground vehicle? Give me the air everytime.
nope, you can mod Jetpacks onto power armor, but it is just a super jump basically, not allowing you to fly or anything.
That one mommy! I want that one!

jeez just running in the things guzzles the cell like it was irish wiskey...I canj just imagine UP UP AND AWAAAAAAAAAAAAY "bip, bip, bip: out of fuel" drop SPLAT!
I'd like to be able to ride the motorcycles I see everywhere.
Not neccessarily saying the should be added but what happened to horses in the fallout universe?
I love my walking tank slow sure but damn it can reach some nice area's with the Jetpack.
