This game looks damn solid at launch.

I've had 4 crashed so far, not too horrible for 16 hours of play, but not great. I do have two quest lines that are fully blocked by bugs, and am now completely stuck in stealth mode with no way out. Can't say I'm soo thrilled with how clean the game is.

Yeah,Multi-conversation subs are weird. If you want them to update properly move closer to the person that is talking.Like in the scene with Preston and engineer-dude,the subs stayed on the last sentence spoken by Preston while whatshisname was talking.Moving closer to him updated the subs.

50 hours in now and i had one stutter problem that forced me to restart the game. No quest bugs, one floating corpse glitch. This is the most stable Bethesda game i've played at launch, there is no doubt about that.

Xbox One, forty hours in, no problems.

I would never go beyond four or five hours on this game without exiting and then reloading. Yes, I remember about file bloating from Skyrim on the 360....

It was right one of the first story missions. The one in which you hunt down kellog. But i was only exploring and doing side missions so i was lvl 40 when i started the main mission. And eyerytime dogmeat or i came close to a bridge near fort hagen the whole game said goodbye. So all the the time spended to build up settlements, collecting ressources and so on was gone...

maybe collecting too much stuff, too much stuff dropped in settlements bloats up the game up to a point when things stop working right.

Started a new game and this time the quest could be finished. Dunno how i should play now... Simply run the quests, only run from point A to B or can i continue to explore... I really dont want to be forced to start a 3rd new char because another save ends up corrupted.

Yup, 60h in, no crash at all. Rock solid.

Running on a 7870 2gb (minimum spec as far as gpu is concerned), everything set to High quality beside Godray to low, and shadowdistance to medium (medium is 3000, manually changed to 4500) and it's quite smooth. 60 fps constantly unless I'm in the heavy city with lots of action (minimum 40-45).

I have my complaints about the controls (PC) and the writing (RPG elements) but... I'm having fun! Something I wasn't sure Bethesda could provide me anymore.

It's about the 50 - 60 hour mark when the game starts to mess up, so expect complaints to come rolling in by next week. I've had one full crash as well, near Boston Common. I recorded it on my Xbox One, so it'll be on my Profile somewhere. Luckily I save often (turned off all Autosaves bar the Pipboy Autosave which is set at 60 minutes).

Yeah, it lags up pretty bad in central Boston and when travelling to any built-up settlements. The draw distance ends up being fairly bad too with lots of pop-in (more like "fade-in"). Overall, it's currently been tagged as "like New Vegas" in my mind, which is to say, everything works great until you hit an almost arbitrary time limit, then it starts going downhill. With patches, NV was arguably the most stable "Bethesda RPG" (I know, it was developed by Obsidian, but I'm using "Bethesda RPG" as an adjective to describe the style of the game) I've ever played. The Rift/Lower Eastmarch still gives me trouble in Skyrim though, as does outside Vault 3 in New Vegas and numerous places in FO3. I'm hoping, that in 2 years time, these issues with Fallout 4 will be resolved. I don't regret buying the game on release or getting the season pass, Bethesda earned my loyalty through making exemplary games and experiences and I'm thoroughly enjoying Fallout 4; but there's always that niggling doubt at the back of my mind, gnawing away, making me wonder why these issues (some of them glaring) are missed in the QA testing and whether I should continue to support a company which some would argue "release broken games" (irrespective of scope, it does appear to be an unfortunate trend and almost bad habit now).

I guess my opinion and my trust will ultimately be shaped and determined by whatever Bethesda choose to do about these issues. I just hope they keep watching all of that game DVR footage from the Xbox One users. I have several friends who are starting to run into issues, so it won't be long before it hits these forums. Most people are trying to remain optimistic for the release week, as am I.
