Is there a way to set a level cap of my choosing?

I was curious to find out what the level cap in this game is and was pleasantly surprised to discover there wasn't one.

But when I did some more research, I realized at some undefined point, I will want to stop the playable character earning XP/levelling up.

I don't know what this level is yet, but when I have gotten my SPECIAL maxed and maxed the Perks I am targeting, I don't want to keep accumulating Perk Points I have no intention of using.

Basically, when I reach my target goals, I want to stop earning XP.

To this end, I want to know if there is a way to instruct the game that no more levels are to be earned by the playable character and by extension, prevent an excess of unwanted/unused Perk Points accumulating when the time comes.

Does anyone know how or if this can be done?

It'll be possible once the CK is released.
