perma-corpses in settlements

Post » Mon Nov 30, 2015 9:22 am

In various settlements with workshops there are corpses littered around that don't despawn.

In one I have there are goul corpses in each house and they look unsightly.

Surely there must be a way to get rid of corpses?

Unlike Fallout 3 I can't find any way to drag corpses. So is there really no way to get rid of these corpses?

You can still drag them away, just hold down your use button and carry on. It works for me at least.

Thank you!

Never occurred to me to hold the use button.

In my game, there are two perma-corpses right over the bridge from Sanctuary. One was "too heavy" to drag, but I was able to drag the other off down a bit of a ridge and hide it under some bushes. A few game days later, it was back across the bridge as if I'd never moved it.

I've dragged human bodies elsewhere, however they tend to respawn if they were originally there. I've dropped tires and such from outside a controlled zone to inside so that I could scrap it. Apparently, critters are too heavy to move. If I'm scraping the scattered debris around Sanctuary or other bases, I should be allowed to remove the other debris for aesthetic purposes. Could dirt be a resource? I'd like to fill in terrain so placed items sit properly. Or perhaps let me mix the concrete to fill in potholes... While I am at it, let me use the material I do have to repair roofs and walls. I spend so many hours just homesteading cause nothing sits right.
