No.

In the TES series, returning to some part of Morrowind in Skyrim was welcome but about 2 centuries passed and a lot changed.

Will we have so many changes during the past few in-game years that warrants a return that quickly?

I would want something more like Mass Effect where I can take my character and just place him/her in the next game with all his/her stats and abilities. Just my two cents.

NYC as DLC would be such a waste. Cities like this deserve new, big game.

New content, side quests, tweaks and changes is one thing, but you do realize what you just said, right? Previous Fallout locations, in a DLC? You do realize the time and effort needed for that, right? You're talking not only landscape, but buildings, objects and items as well. Do you realize what the size of data of a DLC containing a new location would be? You're talking about half the size of an entirely new game.

When I want to return to the Capital Wasteland, I run Fallout 3. I'd much rather have new games contain new content.

(and the whole idea of casually traveling between the East & West coast to visit FO:NV locations is silly.)

No, for the reason that there just isn't a lot of transportation. The East and West Coasts, and the mid United States are literally thousands of miles apart.

Just a pipe dream I had while thinking about this.

You're sent on a massive mission in a souped up vertibird or super military vehicle. "Damnation Alley" style. (Look it up. Roger Zelazny novelette and movie with G. Peppard and Jan M. Vincent)

Coast to coast. Vaccine delivery or something.
You go through Pittsburgh, D.C., Boston, Vegas... whatever.

ahhh... nevermind.

no if you want to go back to those areas then play those games. though I would like a dlc with the enclave returning. would be a waste to do a dlc in a big city like new york becasue they can be used to make full sequels

New York does not exist

Fallout 4 takes place about 125 years after Fallout 1. That's not a "few in-game years," :P

I'm not against a trip to the west coast. But...I prefer area specific locales for DOC rather places that deserve their own game.
There's so much of post-nuke America to tap to explore, I'm more interested in new sights, new sounds, then getting updates on past locales.

Yes but only if we can import our save and have it affect the state of the area.

Though I am curious to see in what ways the CW has changed in the last 10 years, I don′t want a DLC taking place there. I′d rather explore something new.
