WTB Settlement exportimport function

I've restarted the game a few times. Not insanely, but maybe 3-5 times. It's enough for me to realise I have "settlement fatigue". It's not that I don't want to build & develop them, it's just that starting up building a settlement again from scratch takes so... much... time... at least when you've done it a few times. So I'd offer good money for an export/import function, maybe something like this:

  • Let us export a specific location, for instance Sanctuary, to it's own *named* profile. For instance, Sanctuary_01.
  • Let me save multiple instances of that location to the same file, just like I have save files for my characters. So I can have an early and a late save of Sanctuary_01.
  • All junk items are saves as well.

  • Import functionality should let me remove all existing structures & junk items at a given location, and replace it with the save.
  • All structures/junk in the location are auto-scrapped before import.
  • I must pay full cost for the structures & junk I import. If I can't, then no import.

I'm not sure if it's technically feasable, but it sure would make me happy as a kitten.

Maybe we should get a Hearthfire-like DLC. That'd be swell.

I'm coming up on 80 hours on the game and I haven't really been assed to do anything Settlemen related. I just go into godmode (for unlimited resources), plop the minimums down so people can stop whining about no water, and go about my day.
