So I love the new Power Armor system being in Power Armor now is a lot more fun but I got a problem with it

WHY CAN'T ALL MY ARMOR BE AWESOME!!!

As of now I find that the X-01 power armor is the strongest Power Armor I have but here's the thing I don't always want to use the X-01 armor cause of its looks.

I really like how it looks but I got tried of it after a while and really wanted to use my T-51 or my T-45 but their just not has good I want to wear the Power Armor I want to wear because it looks cool not cause its states are better then the other ones I have.

When going into a big battle you want to look the way you want to be as well as be protected but you can't have both if only one suit of power armor you have has the best states but not the look you want I really hope that Bethesda updates the game so that all power armor can get to the level of protection as the X-01 sure you may have to get the materials to do it but It would make be SO happy to be able to use my T-51 rather then my X-01

But I would like to know what the Fallout community thinks what are your guys/gals thoughts I would very Interested to hear them

Really just a matter of gaming progression and lore.

The X01's were the most advanced in the series of existing power armor, so this is why it has the best stats.

As the power above me states, moding your armor will compensate for this quite a bit, and in the future gameplay mods will find a way to equalize power armor appearances.

Well it makes sense out of in universe sense that one armour is better then the other, as one model was made to surpass another, in the end tho like many other Beth games ya dont really need to blindly go for the higher number, if ya wanna rock the t-51 ya free to do so, especially if you invest the perks and materials to upgrade it to a higher letter version.

I do see your point that from a lore stand point it makes senses so I'll just wear the armor i want to wear and if I every know I'm going into a big battle I'll pick up the X-01 thanks for commenting guys nice to hear what other people think

consider max upgrade armor they offer quite a good defense already even for non x-01. I think you can just wear whatever you feel like

For all we know it could turn out that the actual Defense Cap is lower than what the Power Armor provides haha, which happened in Skyrim by the way.
