Expected playtime?

Are you getting as much playtime as you did with skyrim, New Vegas etc.

I don't think I'm going to reach skyrim levels (500+ hrs).

Probably not as long as Skyrim, longer than FO3, FO4 is way larger.

I expect to surpass all the other in hours simply because of the infinite leveling system and the settlements. With patches and mods I expect to be playing the sims:wasteland for quite some time.

The power armor and improved feel of the gunplay has me hooked too.

I'm probably getting more out of it than New Vegas, but I probably won't make it to Skyrim hours.

I'm on ~80 hours right now and running out of steam, to a degree. I either need to wait for DLC or start a new playthrough (Perhaps even as an institute loyalist).

First play though not yet complete. 180 hours. Its such an improvement over NV and FO 3 I don't expect to play either of those two game again.

I played FO3 for nearly 150+ hours. NV not as much, since it kept crashing at the end.

I honestly never beat Skyrim....I am horrible with re-rolls...

I will be playing FO4 until my teeth fall out..

Well, it's very early to tell. In the long run, (after all DLC and overhaul mods are released) will probably end up being on par with the others, maybe more.

Morrowind ~300 hours / Oblivion ~900 hours / FO3 ~1500+ hours / New Vegas ~ 1000+ hours / Skyrim ~ 800 hours / Current FO4 ~ 150 hours

According to steam, I've clocked 223 hours and I'm burning out, so I'm going to take a break until the CK gets released.

I put over 1700 hours into Skyrim, and I think this will reach at least half that.

it really depends on how many times you play the game

FO3 took me ~40 hours the first time

F:NV ~80 hours

Skyrim ~120 hours

being 70 hours into F4 and having only explored 1/3rd of the map, I can't see myself beat it within 200 hours

it feels way bigger than Skyrim for me... the map itself might be smaller, but there are soo many locations... the city is so huge and so dense

No idea how long I am going to play. I usually make a couple of playthroughs, wait a bit for mods and DLC's and have at it again. But I rarely shelf good games forever. I pull them out now and again, and make another playthrough with a new mod or something, or just to experience it again, refresh memory etc. But a good starting guess would be 500-800+ hours?

I've got about 100 hours in and am only at level 26 on my first play through, I will likely play through again as a female naer do well, to try a different ending and another as a pure settlement leader as I hope one of the DLCs will be very settlement centric.

I see myself sinking quite a bit of time into this game. I bought the season pass and even if they never release a single add on I'm under a buck an hour for my entertainment on this game. (I often rationalize game purchases with movie purchases. A 60 dollar game that provides 6 hours of entertainment is the equivalent of 3 20 dollar new releases at 6 hours of viewing time.)

yeah well Skyrim took me around 90hs to fully complet (without DLC).

Fallout 4 took me around 84hs the first time but i didnt fully explore the Glowing sea. So for me is a huge game.

I will absolutely surpass Skyrim. This game will be practically free if you divide $ paid by # hours played by the time I'm done with it :)
