Single Tone Speaker

Post » Tue Dec 01, 2015 10:08 am

Does anyone know the purpose of the Single Tone Speakers you can build for your settlements.

I built one, and after flowing power to it I get the option of changing the tone. But all it does is play a single note. So all you hear is a single electric tone where you can change the pitch of the sound.

 Am I missing something here?

If you conbine several (many) of them with the time interval switches and use a terminal to program them, you can basically get them to play any song you want them to...just flip a switch, or use a trap-trigger, and listen to the smooth sounds of *whatever*.

I may do it at the entrance to the Castle, and have it play some Metallica. whenever somebody enters the gate. (lol)

 Who has time for that!!! Holy Cow does that sound like a lot of work! But DAMN YOU for giving me this knowledge!!! How cool would it be that every time I walk into my fort in Sanctuary that it plays the beginning of "Freewill" by Rush, OR better yet, whenever I leave Sanctuary and head into the Wasteland that it plays the beginning of "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N' Roses!
