Factions - Brotherhood ...and anyone else...?

I was just wondering if the Legion or the Powder Gangers might be in the game....?

Inter-game connections are always cool to see.

Consider those are west coast things I doubt it, fallout 3 factions are more likely to return.

I thought there were in game references to the legion being in several parts of the US ? I stand to be corrected though. And powder gangers were coked up bandits....surely that has inter-state appeal? lol

Well they would have to come up with a reason to walk, what 3,000 miles (very roughly) direct so its probably a lot longer since they would have to find a trail that avoided irraditated areas, deathclaws, other dangerous wildlife, find sources of clean water, scavenge for supplies, hunt for food, avoid or fight local gangs, tribes and factions.........all to reach Boston for some unknown reason.

To legion is noway near to Boston...

And the powder gangers were just the onews from the NCR prision. They breaked out with powder. No reason for them to be in Boston.

I'd be super bummed if anything new to NV was brought into FO4. I just want to forget NV ever existed.

There might also be East Coast super-mutants, Lyons & Casdin BOS, Talon Company, Regulators, Generic unamed raiders, Enclave.

I wish the raiders weren't generic tbh, it never made much sense that there'd be ubiquitous, identical groups of raiders who all get along. Raiders should either be in distinct groups/gangs, or too dysfunctional to band together at all. It's similar to how bandits in TES are so generic, like there's some kind of unseen bandit alliance.

NV solved this problem with the gangs (jackals, vipers, fiends). Then Bethesda just forgot that existed.

Yeah NV got it right, and I believed it expanded on the ideas introduced in the first 2 games. Shame Beth haven't ever really done diverse bandits, though Morrowind had named bandits that seemed to be distinct as individuals.

I'd like to see Talon Company expanded upon they were quite the missed opportunity in FO3 but I doubt it will happen, no matter though.

Legion, I hope to never see again, and powder gangers were just a bunch of prisoners that ended up breaking out. I doubt we will see them as they are very far away. The only ones I possibly see making it into F4 are the larger organized groups from F03 since they are much closer to Boston. Groups like Outcasts,Talon Company, Brotherhood, which we already know are in, and maybe small pockets of Enclave that got scattered after their defeat.
