Crazy theory

I'm sat here all exited about fallout 4 thinking what twists and turns the story might take, and then it hits me, that whole pre war prologue seems like the stereotypical family life back then, wife, child and even your own personal robot, but what I its too good to be true? What if none of it ever happened? what if its all just a pre loaded memory? One thing we know about Boston is that they have androids right, we also know vaults are there to run cruel experiments on people, so what if that's what you are, an android that believes its human remember that security guard guy from fallout 3, what if that's the big plot twist in the game, and I know some things don't add up like the robot outside waiting for you, although vault tech are pretty resourceful, and you would think some lowly scavengers would of picked him up by now right? So what if vault 111 was designed to create androids and when the vault opened years later the scientists left and helped found the institution, you one of the last and most advanced androids awaken to find yourself in an unknown world with nothing but fond 'memories' of your past life. It would make the whole set backstory thing more acceptable really because it never happened, but that is just my theory looking to see peoples opinion on it.

You mean you might be Replicant human? An android who thinks he/she is Human? Nice idea but you would find out the moment you got shot, or your leg got badly damaged or you needed a charge.

This idea is so often to hear... Really... I don't want this idea because this is one of the things which everyone think of... It's not a twist if this is the most popular theory out there.

theory does make sense

my theory was

that you you the protagonist are so badly burned near death your memories are transplanted somehow in a android

and 200 years later some failsafe mechanism wakes you up

commenwealth ---- mit --- technology --- androids --- advanced technologies----- brotherhood --- somehow all make sense

I thought that but what if it was all synthetic I mean look at harkness (think that's his name) he lived a normal life for a while, not to mention this is vault tech we're dealing with not apple I don't think charging is an issue.

Yeah I thought it would be a popular thing like the whole 'it was just a dream' or They're dead' but I Dunno thought id put it out there with all the others

That's what I thought from what we know it would kind of make sense and the pieces fit although I doubt that it will be the case but still funny to think that there may actually be a vault like that in the game, if not yours.
