Why do people play a Todd Howard game?

The intent was simply a reflection that game studios learn from their mistakes and improve or remove features over time.

Like the Pip-Boy buttons moving to the 'correct side' in Fallout 4.

This attention to detail (to get back on topic before the thread locks) is after all something that Todd has spoken about at length.
