This is my first post on here so dont be too harsh on me please (:. Anyway, i always liked collecting The different achievements on The fallout games and am really curious what they will be in fallout 4.
Or am i The only one Who likes them?
Any ideas for new achievements maybe something like explore for 100 hours and The title : just getting started.

Welcome to the forums! I'm indifferent myself but I would honestly be surprised if they are not included.

There will most likely be quite the selection, from basic ones like finishing key main story missions to minor ones like getting X score on one of those holotape games.

are people still concerned about these complete abstract and point less archivements ?

really i thought that was so 'passe' that people didn't care about them anymore

no disrespect intended

Considering there are entire websites and communities dedicated to achievements, that's clearly not the case.

I personally like achievements. Gives more of an incentive to play differently and challenge yourself. Such achievements like in Metro 2033 that ask that you go through an entire mission without killing or knocking anyone out. I sneak through most of the levels plenty knocking people out, but to do it without touching any enemy at all? A fun enough challenge. Some achievements can just be for fun like tying someone to the train tracks in Red Dead Redemption. Some can be made for funny little references.

As for Fallout 4's achievements, I hope there aren't any silly ones like Fallout 3's karma achievements. In a way, they give you the incentive to also play differently on another playthrough of the game, but with something like karma that can be difficult to remain a certain karma level you want (mainly when you're trying to remain neutral) it just makes it a hassle to have to work for it. I couldn't imagine karma achievements being in New Vegas, where killing some enemies will force good karma upon you. That would be utterly frustrating.

I really love the designs of the trophies/achievements for Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I'm sure they'll be similar for Fallout 4. I'm expecting similar requirements to attain them as well

yes i understand and agree with you

and there was a time i tried to archive them aswell that is till they started to come up with the silliest and most stupid archivements

and i can see why mainly on consoles people still go after them it does give them some boasting rights afterall

overall iwould love to see a archivement system like was implemented in new vegas or one like the archive that mod in skyrim

I have the Fallout 3 and New Vegas platinum trophies, so i'd like to get Fallout 4's platinum (though that's contingent on it being a good game).
