Not much actual info on Fallout 4, but still a intresting look into the mindset of Bethesda and the things behind the curtain that has influnced the things we have seen.

Good interview. Say what you will about the games themselves, but I wish more major publishers worked the way Bethesda does. Just let your devs do what they want and be confident in it; don't sweat annual releases, or having properties for every genre, or skeevy DLC models. People always talk about the gaming industry being huge money, and incredibly risky; I wonder how vulnerable Bethesda is to that with how they do things.

I have to agree with this. Bethesda have always stood out as being unique in the way they approach development of their games, and I would rather wait a few years for a true quality experience than have the same drivel released year on year.

for me one of the reasons Im excited for FO 4 is that beth is indeed shinning with confidence in there product. Dont get me wrong FO 3 is a good game, but its clear beth wasnt firing on all cylinders in confidence, which ended up showing in the final product.

Wha?

Everything he said implied they would look hard at feedback they got from Skyrim players when working on TES6, but would not second guess their direction based on off the cuff, knee jerk reactions from those that have just seen demo gameplay videos. Not sure how this is a bad thing unless you tend to think every game should be all about eye candy
