APB All Points Bulletin

Post » Tue Jun 08, 2010 9:39 pm

Okay well i know this really lame and frowned upon in every gaming society that has any self-conscious left.. Buttttt its really starting to get to me.. I started playing it loved it right away then lately theres been alot of hackers (i.e. aimbot radar/wallhack) it wasnt so bad at first but then EVERYONE i get matched with is killing me with the starter weapon in 4shots..(req. amount of hits to the head to kill with that weapon) so its desperate but im getting pissed and i want to get back to actually winning so i never thought i was ever going to ask this but... Anyone have an APB Aimbot?

Hacks? :nono:

But if the hackers are THAT obvious, then maybe you should just wait it out and let the GM's deal with them? I mean, I've never played the game (or ever really looked into it) but I'm sure they wouldn't just let hackers run the game and do nothing about it. . . right?

Personally, before I'd get an aimbot, I'd stop playing the game altogether. I mean, you're gonna be paying $15 dollars a month to play the game with your uber leet hax. Which isn't really playing at all, IMHO. Just my 2 cents, if the community is that bad, maybe it's time you just moved on?

Eeeeeeeeee, that would be awesome. I wanted this game, but I cannot imagine my laptop being able to run it, hackers (as you mentioned), and the monthly payment? (is there one, I remeber reading about it somewhere)

Word this morning was that the developers are going under (or at least quite a few layoffs and in poor shape financially), so I hope for your sake someone else continues to support it.

If you don't like the direction the game is headed and you aren't enjoying the hacker-ridden gameplay, becoming a cheater yourself doesn't seem like such a good solution to your problem. What fun can aimbotting possibly be?

its about $10 a month but if your creative enough you can sell stuff for RTW points and pretty much play for free i bought the game and i have enough to play for free for about 5months

This game just seems to be a real mess to me, no Oceania release, no anti-cheat, lame pricing scheme, not backed by a reputable publisher, questionable gameplay mechanics, and now the developers/publishers are going under.

If that's true, then that's...kind of sad. Now I know the game doesn't sound too good, has gotten an overall lukewarm reception, and aside from the character creator, it never looked like much anyway, but it seemed like a good idea, and the devs looked like they were really into the project. Shame it may have flopped so quickly.

http://kotaku.com/5615250/apbs-studio-is-nearly-doa about the developers' status. Looks like they'll continue supporting it for now.
