Will The Vanilla Game Be More Diverse than F3 and FNV

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 4:07 am

Just judging from character creation it seems they took a major step forward in customization of your player character. One of the most boring aspects of the vanilla versions of the previous games was their less-than exciting and very limited hairstyles and voice acting options, leading to an almost unbearable uniformity and repetition in NPCs and enemies (raiders especially). It would seem Skyrim took a massive step forward from the hideous and limited options in Oblivion, perhaps F4 will do the same?

Any news on the amount of customization options that will be available for both the vanilla game and the creation kit? Would be awesome if they had 20 or so generic voices built into the game for use with the creation kit.

I think "diverse" is an ambiguous and poor word for what the OP is actually referring to, robust customization. We'll see? TES has other races, so having more variety is easier (granted Skyrim got rid of potato faces). Honestly, BGS has never been that great at a robust customization system. Most of their characters always end up being ugly and a lot of assets are reused far too often. This is always something that inevitably improves somewhat with each game, but who knows how much.
