Hadn't heard about this previously, but it seems we will be able to earn small amounts of XP from crafting: https://youtu.be/D1J9HSbqqUA?t=3m35s
Is that right, or is this a different type of crafting XP?

Smithing did it in Skyrim so I'm kind of used to that. But in FO4's case you can make something and I think can break it down again ... then make it again. Seems it would be to easy to level up doing that.
It's a single player game. Why should anyone care how someone else levels their character?
Seems like a good thing, simply provides more options for different types of playthroughs.
Diminishing return on breakdown recycling would put a brake to that.
If true, I have no issue with it. A minuscule amount of XP for crafting? Sure why not.
I'm sure there will be some people who will grind like there's no tomorrow, level up insanely and then complain that crafting is a gamebreaker.
Come to think of it, I'm actually looking forward to those threads.
It wasn't that much XP from crafting, and I'm sure Bethesda made sure you couldn't just constantly break down and craft the same weapon to loop XP. This isn't their first rodeo.
That does seem a little over the top. Maybe you get fewer materials returned after breaking it down than it takes to make it similar to Ultima Online.
