books and mags

i'm hoping skill books and mag's will have a bar where you read some after a few they give you a point to put on s.p.e.c.i.a.l'S

Depends on how they set up the perks. If perks exist which increase a SPECIAL, then there is little point to increasing SPECIALs through books. The final level of a perk could require a book to unlock it. So to unlock Gun Nut 4 could require the Guns & Babes limited edition magazine.

I hope you can actually read them.. I want to read little articles about lockpicking and have a continuing saga about Grognak. I hope the Big Book of Science is just filled with incredibly long winded outdated scientific theories.

Maybe they'll improve the effectiveness of certain skills. Like it'll boost the damage output when you craft an energy weapon.
