The launch is missing the big Extra Life fundraiser!

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 3:41 am

I'm putting a big group together for the Extra Life fundraiser on November 7th, which sadly, misses the launch date by 3 days. It'd be the perfect game to really get into for the fundraiser, and I'm certain we're not the only ones who feel that way. Bethesda, make this happen!

(New to the forums, so sorry if this has been mentioned already.)

I strongly doubt Beth would let anyone play the game, more so in a public setting before the 10th, they are after all a business, I honestly think it be "easier" to move the event to the 10th, then hoping Beth lets you play there game 3 days earlier.

Still I wish ya luck and hope you raise lots of money anyway.

Yeah, I don't expect either of them to change dates or do anything about it. Extra Life is a huge event, scheduled way ahead of time, and obviously, so is a game launch. Just wishful thinking that the stars would have aligned better. But who knows, we know they have a heart - they allowed that one guy to pay in caps!

And thanks, I hope we raise a lot, too!

Basically if you have seen full metal alchemsit it is a thing involving stealing life from gamers and giving blood to others

The thing is, while the "official" Extra-Life http://www.extra-life.org/ event is November 7th-8th, Extra-Life realizes that people can't always make those dates, and not everyone can play 24 hours in a weekend. They state that you can do your gaming (of whatever type) at any time, and over as long of a time period as needed, as long as you get in 24 hours of gaming (and get sponsors to donate to the cause - the Children's Miracle Network). So, just collect your donations and play Fallout 4 the next weekend - or whatever. You have until the end of the year.
