So when do you think the review embargo will drop?

I love reading reviews (so long as they aren't too spoilery).

When do you you think that Bethesda will:

  1. Drop reviewers copies?
  2. Set the review embargo date?

Whatever you think of the games (off topic) a good example of a game with a lengthy window was last year's Dragon Age Inquisition and bad ones would be Destiny and Assassin's Creed Unity.

  • Dragon Age sent out reviewers copies: launch minus 18 days and the embargo dropped: launch minus 7 days.
  • Destiny sent out reviewers copies: launch minus 1 day
  • Assassin's Creed Unity has a review embargo until 12 hours after launch.

Skyrim's review embargo appears to have been the day before, but reviewers appeared to have had good time to review the game.

Do you think the close control of spoilers will mean a late reviewer drop?

Would you like to be reading reviews as early as November 3rd?

I never read reviews cause I've found I never agree with them and as such they're fairly useless. And knowing the Fallout series like I do, I don't care about the opinion of a random journalist. Well, that's not entirely true. In regards to movies I can usually rely on a bad review to result in a movie I like and the other way around, lol.

Anyway, based on the silence from Beth, and Todd's mantra about not wanting to reveal too much as he wants the fans to experience it all for themselves, I'd say a review probably wouldn't come out until the day of release. But that's just a guess.

Not that the review will sway whether I'm playing the game (pre-order being in and all...)

The only review that matters to me is my own review.

My guess one day before launch, Nov 9 2015.

I'll read the reviews several months after playing the game and get angry that the reviewer didn't like the things that I liked.

Much like movie reviews, I don't care to see what some "reviewer" has to say about it. They're nothing like me and have their own opinions and biases.

Reviews will be released after Fallout 4 is released so Fallout 4 reviews will be released on November 10 while Previews are released before Fallout 4 is released.
