Hey that's a valid question. I'm using the same thing half the world uses--Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.
The main reason I got the GTX 770 SC 4GB is because at the time it was the same price on Ebay as the standard 770's and over $150 cheaper than a 970. I also tend to go on the high end with VRAM to give me overhead for loading texture mods.
