I've never understood the reasoning behind joining a forum to slag off a game I've never played, I can see the reasoning behind fans of the originials complaining about the changes that Bethesda has made in general to the 'new' Fallout games, but actually joining a forum usually filled with fans to give my own very special uniformed opinion not so much.

If Fallout 4 gives me the enjoyment and the countless hours of gameplay that previous games have given me then I'll be more than happy.

This happened when New Vegas was in development as well...but we had a full year or so from announcement to release for them to come out of the woodwork. I recall there was a good few championing for the game to be scrapped and rebuilt with the isometric top down view.

If that is how you feel about the game i would say wait with getting it until reviews are in if you are doubting it will be fun, no one wants to volunteer for a root canol at least i hope not if you think it will be boring wait until reviews are in.

I find it interesting the game because of the new V.A.T.S. with still moving enemies, and the V.A.N.S. system also since I am somewhat colour blind to certain nuances of colour change, and the look of the new crafting system all of that appeals to me, so from what i have seen with the different video's i will be entertained for quite some time in the game.

I also like the new voiced protagonist direction only concern I have had is the new dialogue system and the short information given in regards to the answer wheel choices you get, not knowing for sure what will be said in the chat from your characters standpoint, but that is more than lightly only for a short period until I am adjusted to this new dialogue system and looking at it in action.

ON TOPIC: Every gamer has a few types of games they like to play, and generally for the most part don't like other games. Myself i love single player and multiplayer, but prefer the single player more often than not. I like FPS, RPG, Puzzle, RTS, etc...

I don't like racing games (ex: NASCAR, Forza, etc..) or story telling games with more cutscene than gameplay.

Thats me and my preferences, if the game looks boring to you, then you probably aren't a fan of single player first person view RPG/FPS, Fantasy, wasteland, games. Its just your preference. We aren't here to change your mind, or get flamed (if this is an attempt at trolling)

I think I see what you're saying, but maybe Fallout 4 will be like neither or both. We just don't know at this point and will have to wait and see. Personally I think it's going to be a lot different from both Fallout 3 and New Vegas. To me that's a good thing.

Did i just hear you say fallout new vegas was a small release? you got to be joking fallout new vegas is as big as fallout 3 is in a way if you look at that maps. You sire need to look into these games, because if you only cared about this game for concept art then, why buy a game just for art?

If so Fallout 4 probably isn't for you.

That's a very basic thing, I find car racing games boring so I generally avoid them, or as in the case of the GTA or Saints Row style games only do the races the main story forces me to do and skip the optional ones.

If you find Bethesda Fallout style games boring, then there is a high probability that Fallout 4 is going to you have the same 'faults'.....if you on the other hand enjoyed Fallout 3 then there is a high probability that Fallout 4 will be an enjoyable game.

The Fallout 4 'Atom Bomb' trailer is one the most exciting I've seen, dont need to wait for a review to know this game wont be dull!

The original post is like creating a thread saying "Cheese svcks". It's so subjective that there isn't really anything you can discuss, the only possible responses are "Yes I hate cheese too" and "What are you talking about, cheese is great". The only direction this can go is to degenerate into name-calling (which it looks like kind of has happened already).

I would suggest using an anology that does not involve cheese. Cheese was given to man by R'hllor because He loves us unconditionally. All those who do not like cheese are creatures of the one that must not be named and must be cast out for they bring only death, disease and destruction. So say we all.

''Fallout 4 looks boring'' (for the OP) IS different from ''Fallout 4 svcks'', don't jump to conclusions.

You can argue, about looooots of things, just like how you can argue about speculations based on nothing.

i just read, and make me wonder, what type of game u play, i think u just love CoD games. Is good u should stay playing those games.

The amount of times people use CoD as an example and, in general, for anything negative without even mentioning why in these forums is truly cringe worthy.
