[IDEA] Quest Notes

Post » Thu Jun 10, 2010 2:54 pm

I have Tribunal and Bloodmoon myself, but I've also played a great deal without them, and I've found that the main feature I can't live without is the "Quests" tab in the journal. I thought it could be really cool for those people who don't have the expansions to make a mod to attempt to make their lives easier, in terms of keeping track of quests.

I thought this could work by giving the player an item, for instance a note entitled, "Quest - Fargoth's Hiding Place", and removing the item when the quest is completed. This way players would be able to easily find out which quests they still need to complete, just by looking through their inventory. It could literally be that simple, or it could be more complicated - for instance, these "Quest Notes" could give information on where the player got the quest, what the player has to do, or where the player is up to in the quest.

Let me know what you think :)

Based on a http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/964953-what-morrowind-do-you-have/, I'd say it's too much effort for an almost non-existing audience. Just my 2 cents.
