Armor pieces.

I really really really would like to know if skyrim is going the fallout way of armor (one piece, really?) or going on previous TES games. I would like to mix and match armor pieces and it would be a huge dissapointment if I didnt have the option to. Can anyone tell from the screenshots they have if the armor looks like its only a few piece or just a preset one piece? Thanks :)

This trend to one piece of armor for the whole body is bothering me. Mixing and matching them is part of the fun.

I can't tell, but I highly doubt Bethesda would take Skyrim in that direction. After all, the only reason Fallout 3 and New Vegas have the one-piece armor system is to stay true to Fallout 1 and 2, which also featured this system.

Yeah like finding my first pair of boots of blinding speed xD

If one of the skills is enchanting, I think its a good sign we will have separate pieces to enchant... unless its just for armor/weapon/helm/rings/amulet, then that would be a serious bummer.

They probably didn't want to show off too many different types of armors so they stuck with the full sets. Thats my guess. There was one armor that caught my eye...it had a dragon/serpant for a collar.

Brilliant. Thats art.

It looks like Oblivion level to me. I was really hoping for Morrowind with separate pauldrens and gauntlets.

I hope they just showed full sets for these shots, but we get many pieces, like in Morrowind.
