Apparently dragons can appear at any time (albeit rarely). I thought dragons were supposed to be extremely rare, mostly benign, and sort of god-like. Now they're just another boss battle. Laame.

I'm inclined to agree, although I guess I'll withhold judgment until I know more. I really thought Bethesda was paying attention when we said "DON'T DUMB THIS DOWN!"

I don't have the magazine yet, but if the main antagonist is Alduin then these aren't the sorts of Dragons that the series has seen before, but are instead the Jills, which are decidedly not-nice from a human perspective.

Yes they are common and regular enemies.

Killing them gains you dragon shout abilites.

These abilites include slowing down time, hurling people away from you, and summoning a dragon to fight alongside you.

Are they tough to take down?

Article says they are tough and fly into combat at anytime.
