well isnt nothing, they announce the game is finish finish finish, so they wont have any delay or anything. Plus all this secret stuff will make it SUPER cool to get the game, i have almost 0 spoiler, that is 100% time better that any other release that u know already the companions and some quest and loot.

On the other hand, this type of 'holding everything to the chest, not allowing reviewers to see anything about the media until release' would indicate that a film or TV show was going to be terrible and the publisher knew it in advance. Hopefully that's not what we've got here, but it's not a practice that has a lot of good history.

The game was pretty close to being done when they did the E3 presser. I doubt if they thought it was crap they'd have gone through all of that trouble, spending all of that time and money for their own E3 presentation. They would have just talked about their games on the floor, like normal.

Releasing carefully tailored videos prior to release doesn't in any way make it less likely that they're holding back from allowing journalists (or anyone else) to actually see the game because they don't think it's actually good.

Right. So, I am talking about all of the money they spent on a huge E3 kickoff event. They didn't need to do all of that. If you knew your flagship game for that event was crap, why would you even host it? Why would you make your first ever E3 event a metaphorical spotlight to shine down on a pile of crap? I don't think that anyone would. They would just do the normal E3 floor dog and pony show.
Or, since they set the short announce release timeframe, they could have simply announced F4 was being worked on, showed some stuff and said, "Look out for Oct 2016." IF they thought it was crap, why would they do such a short announce to launch, instead of trying to fix it?



Quite the opposite is happening here. They are confident with this game. They don't need to oversell it with constant bombardment as some games do in an attempt to grab first day sales before bad reviews come out.

Well they have been releasing some thing on Fallout 4 every Wednesday and we have two more Wednesday to go before release.

I'd think the Quakecon footage would be a prime contender.
