Accidents Happen (or not)

First time doing this quest.

Love it!

I actually felt the thrill of sneaking in and breaking into the house........I wish that all of the houses had secret passageways like this!

I regret that I couldn't do more searching in the house, or speak with Gromm or Baenlin.

Is there anything that I missed?

Any suggestions for the next DB quest? Few spoilers please......

You'll be able to talk to Gromm in the Tap and Tack later. He'll be doing a lot of drinking there.

For the next quest, be real patient, and use any invisibility or chameleon you can. The reward for no dead guards has minor effects, but is cool as hell anyway, so really try not to be seen.

I agree its one of my favorite dark brotherhood quests, especially because it is one of the early quests, so its a serious thrill on the first playthrough. Its funny that you mention this quest though, because a fairly long time ago I developed a conspiracy theory. Bear with me on this, but on a character that was new, and had not even started the dark brotherhood, I broke into the Black Horse Courier headquarters in the Imperial City, and picked up a nearby issue of the newspaper. What article is it? The article detailing the "accidental" death of Baenlin in Bruma. But the murder had not yet happened. I believe someone in the Black Horse Courier ordered the hit on Baenlin.

Airtight alibi :" I was on my horse delivering the courier in Anvil at the time. Just ask the Redguard posted at the gate if you don't believe M'aiq. "

That's one of my personal favourite sneaky assassination missions.

Just did the quest 'Scheduled for Execution.' WOW!!!

I am LOVING the DB quests! I hadn't read any of the walk throughs or even any discussions on the quests, and I really got tied up with the sneaky ness of the whole situation. Love it! I shot Valen with a bow and arrow, and ran like hell. Used tons of invisibility potions, but w/out them it would have been damn near impossible w/ my sneak skill!

About to do the Bruma quest next with the party? I guess. I'm looking forward to it!

A funny thing is that Accidents Happens is the only quest in the questline where you'll directly be able to see the Brotherhood's client.

The new family member who moves in after the victimis dead is in fact the Brotherhoods client.
He wanted him dead...
