Hello, I am new to the forum so sorry if something isn't okay with my topic.I can order the pip boy edition but from what I read I am not sure if my phone will be okay to use with the Pip boy.I know I can use the app on my phone I am just not sure if I will be able to put it in the pip boy...My phone is Sony Xperia Z3, can someone who knows the dimensions check with the Xperia Z3 and tell me here if I will be able to put it in? it's still possible for ?it to fit, but hard to say without seeing first hand, worst case you'll have to ether get a new phone that fits. or modify the pipboy to work with your phone.

Thank u very much for the answer.I wont buy a new phone for this,I love my phone and there are a lot of phones that are even bigger than my Z3 , so really surprised that maybe it wont fit in as the Iphone 6+ as I understood...To be honest not that keen on the pip boy if I wont be able to put my phone in it, it will look like a big thing with a hole in the middle...

your phone may still fit, the phones they listed all use inserts for the pipboy. so if you don't us the insert, it may fit fine.

Yeah but its still bigger by 0.1 , and even if it goes in without the inserts , the problem I think would be that I wont be able to close the upper part of the pip boy because of the phone being a bit longer ...

the insert adds a few millimeters on all sides, and the face comes down and rests on the face of the phone, I see no issue.

It's a foam insert. They likely mentioned the S5 due to it's popularity. They definitly weren't going to test every single phone and see if it would fit or not. Especially something as obscure as a an xperia phone (sorry, but it's true). I'm sure the foam insert will allow for some "play" in the size of the phone. They just wanted to mention the ones considerably larger would not fit.

I am just asking as I am in Europe and I will have to pay 140 Euros which is 160 dollars ... So paying so much with something that doesnt serve me is bad in my opinion ...Yeah I paid a lot for other games and editions , but I didnt expect them to do anything where here its a lot of money because of its functionality and I expect something.I dont feel bad about the Xperia , Ive spent my summer in USA this year and was very surprised with people not knowing much about Sony as a brand let alone speak about the phones.In Europe its the opposite , Sony is maybe the most famous brand.Samsung is like everywhere with its phones so I didnt expect anything less.I just hope my phone would fit in. ;O

Honestly, 0.1" is a very small margin to worry about when it's a foam insert. Even a plastic insert would probably be ok. In off topic conversation I'll say that most of the Sony phones weren't even sold in the US. I know a couple buddies that imported some of the better ones but for the most part they were never solde/didn't do well here.

Yeah , like I said I will risk it and hope I dont have a useless pip boy Yeah I understood why Sony is interested in the US market , since its not going as well as Xbox in the us for consoles and not as good as samsung and iphone in the us.Otherwise the Europe and Asia market are theirs.
