question about tribunal and bloodmoon

Post » Fri Jun 11, 2010 2:00 pm

I know they both include patches which a lot of mods require to run.

If I install them but deactivate them in data files before I start the game... will the patches still be active?

or do i need to have ticked the box in data files for the patches to be running too?

IM asking weather the expansions need to be both installed and active for the mods needing them to work... or weather installed and inactive will suffice?

Will bloodmoon run properly if i deactivate tribunal?

The patching is applied to Morrowind.exe (v1.6.1820) and TESCS, so as far as having the correct version required when running 3rd party apps like MGE, MWSE, or MWE you'll be good to go without having Tribunal.esm or Bloodmoon.esm selected.

Most recent mods require the expansion esms - you won't be able to laod them without also loading the master plugin they depend on.

Bloodmoon can be run without Tribunal, and vise verse. Both require Morrowind.esm tho.
