I dont think it will really be restricted. I was talking with a friend at work about this and it really wouldnt make any sense to limit armor. One thing he noticed was that one of the perks looked like a PA suit running over a guy. so maybe the suit can crush people while running, and running will be a perk too. The armor should be typical, when you put it on its fine, but other perks have more abilities. lets be honest, if they had PA be difficult to actually use, such as certain times, or certain things needed, it may get a little hectic with fans.
my guess 1- the new power armor have life, as u can see on the trailer each piece have a life-bar or indicator, that u can see that goes to 0 during the fight with the Deathclaw, so my guess when u "break" the PA will be hard to fix.
2- i think it will run on a battery-style, do to the power the new PA have, for the video it look like u can take a lot more dmg on it.
For me this new PA style look super cool bc add alot more to the "lore" about it, that the PA suppose to be a personal tank, and it was replacement for traditional tanks on the battlefield.
i really dont think so, this new power armor look much closer with the lore involve, if they allow u to call it by droop ship or something like it can be use to get out of a bad situation, and lets be real, normally on the other fallout game after u get a PA u never remove it, and with this new system allow u to have 2 armor coexisting
I'm wondering how are you going to get the Power Armor to different locations I'm hoping that you have to call it in via Vertibird. It could drop in randomly in the area within a certain range of you. Maybe you can call it in ahead of time, send it to an area you know is filled with enemies. You have to fight your way to the suit first, get in and then really do damage. That'd be really cool.
It really seems to me that power armor behaves as it honestly should have, albeit it feels more like a mech mode which may not be something you can do throughout the game.
It has a carry weight; that means it goes in the inventory.
