Preordered the pipboy edition for PC and never heard if it does or doesnt come with the season pass?

Don't know.. I doubt it. You don't really have to worry about it though. Just wait until you get the game and see. If you do get it, YAY! if you don't, simply get the season pass later. It's not like the first DLC is going to drop until next year... probably.

Pete Hines mentioned on Twitter a while back that the season pass doesn't come with the Pip-Boy Edition. I recently cancelled my Pip-Boy Edition and pre-ordered the Gold Bundle from Best Buy. The game comes with the season pass and a pair of socks for $85.

How did you manage to pre-order that? I have tried - online, in store, and even a Facebook post asking. No go. Word is that it isn't available until December 31st (i.e. indeterminate), so it is on the site, but not orderable. Shame, really. I wanted socks.

If you did order it I hope they let you have a copy before Christmas. Right now no telling.

No it does not. I messaged Bethesda directly for this. I was on the fence about it too.

Wow, really? I JUST ordered 30 minutes ago. I didn't read anything about it being available in December. My order details says free shipping on November 10 on release date. I even have the confirmation email.

I'm going to look more into this right now.

Well, now it seems to let it be shipped. Still won't let you pick it up. Their system seems to be screwy (though you should be good).

In fact, on the product page it claims I can't have it shipped, but it seems to let me order it to be shipped if I keep going through the whole ordering process. Before nothing worked. I'm going to let this simmer for a day or two and see if it will let me pick it up. Their system is a bit borked here. Otherwise may order a plain one and this one and just return the extra copy (and keep the socks!).

Oh man I hate my Best Buy's store pick up and their screwy system. That's another story though. If you have to order a plain copy and return the Gold Bundle copy, hopefully Best Buy won't ask where the socks are if the box art says, "Includes Exclusive Vault Boy Socks" lol. I'd rather the socks than the Pip-Boy because I'll actually wear it. I don't know if you have GCU, but my total was $72. The makes the season pass almost free. I originally wasn't going to purchase the season pass, but you just can't beat that deal.

Noticed at best buy a special edition of the game which contains a pair of fallout socks that comes with the season pass.

Would be nice if those of us who got pipboys could get in on that? Or whatever, honestly dont care since buying the season pass I feel helps support bethesda which is good because really like their wolfenstein games. But it is a bit annoying that people get a season pass with a pair of socks and not an official pipboy, that just seems kinda backwards?
