Hey, do you guys know if the big leagues perk will count towards pistol/rifle melee attack damage? I'm looking to do a melee type build and thought it could be a nice combination with the defender perk.

(Big Leagues + Defender + Gun Nut + Commando) could be a lot of fun. What do you think?

I'm assuming that it scales with the defender perk for the sake of balance, but I wouldn't be surprised if pistol whipping scaled with big leagues.

I don't know about the damage it may inflict with melee attacks with guns, but I hope we can play baseball in the game...if we can, I'd imagine this perk would affect it.

I think the Swing for the Fences perk only affects dedicated melee weapons, but Strength overall affects melee damage for everything - and it's possible that the S7 and S8 perks involve gun melee in one of their ranks. Or maybe Swing for the Fences has a rank dedicated to gun melee itself - who knows, eh? (I wonder what additional ranks of Swing for the Fences will add?)
