Hair ye Hair ye

We all have seen the hairstyles of male characters (or at least a few). I was wondering how the the hair for female characters would look like?

And how many hairstyles would be in Fallout 4?

I hope the game will have hairstyles with bangs. I'm a svcker for bangs.

While I don't expect (or even really want) "dynamic hair" like I think they have in Witcher-3, I ~do~ hope that we have hair that does not look ~plastic~ and shiny.

As long as they made a nice base model for hair, I'll wait around for the amazing hair mods =)

I hope there'll be some practical short hair models, previous games had golden era models jumping to Mad Max models suddenly so I think there was like two models that I could even consider.

That's what I mostly used to.. but not because I liked it. It was basically the only haircut that looked halfway decent. (That and the Wendy the Welder haircut.) I hope we see a lot better haircuts than either of those two.

Yeah I used Wendy the Welder a lot too.

I'm hoping Fallen Angel returns (updated so that the "wings" actually connect to the head, I love this on raider women), Wendy the Welder, and the previously mentioned one. All updated of course. Also hoping we get more of a variety of longish hair and ponytails, maybe even some of the partially shaved head designs ladies are wearing these days.

I just hope they don't shave my head when I want to wear a hat.

Something that's been sorely missing from the hair selection: Curly hairstyles! Hell, what games actually do have curly hairstyles? I'm not necessarily looking for Brave curls, but just some heavy curls like mine own hair would be appreciated.

Oh, and if there isn't a Frank Zappa facial hair option called https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/28/Frank_Zappa_Strictly_Commercial.jpg, I'm learning how to mod it in dammit.

I would have to think that 50's hair styles would be required. Hopefully we can switch to a blue mohawk later in game.

I would have liked some of those hairstyles a lot more if the heads weren't shaved. Fairytails and Mangy looked like they were specifically designed for ghouls.

I feel like with the facegen system they'll just think, screw it, and let us be a pre-war Mom with liberty spikes. Imagine what the neighbors would think! If not, then there will certainly be hairdressers barbers in the wasteland that offer more hairstyles. But they showed off an undercut or two in the male facegen demo, which definitely isn't a Pre-War style, so I imagine they don't really care too much.

Well I certainly feel like 2077 probably had a cultural view on how a lady could cut her hair without getting ridiculed by folks or turned away from the malt counter. Thing is, in the wasteland, no one gives a [censored] about what your hair looks like (I.e. Wastelander, Rough Night, and "Raider" doos in F3). It will be interesting to see if Codsworth retained any barbering ability from his cousins in DC.
