I love the new Nuka Cola Bottle which they would license it for a real world nuka cola.

IT could even be made actually radioactive.

Many perfectly save foods are radioactive there is even a unit of messurment based on the bannana the B.E.D or Bannana equivelent dose.

The potasium in bannanas is mildly radioactive.

Banana_equivalent_dose (aparantly the forum wont allow me to post urls so this is basically the wiki entry name... i like including proper source refrences)

Intrestingly enught it would not be the first radioactive drink as a horrible and quite dangerous drink called Radithor was sold as a quackerific [censored] cure all

Radithor (aparantly the forum wont allow me to post urls so this is basically the wiki entry name... i like including proper source refrences)

But basically get the very cool new bottles made that easy and dooable sure the design is a bit diffrent and it might not work well with recycling machines so that could be a minor issue. (though regular glass recycling still is not a problem)

I would totally get it lol.

Also a fallout4 type nuka cola bottle would have the benefit of cooling faster in a refrigerator then other bottles due to the extra surface area which is nice if its been on a unrefrigerated shelf and you want it cold as fast as possible once you get home

(assuming they keep it to one bannana equivelent dose or around that level... that enught to get te giger counter ticking a bit more then background anyway)

watch?v=X_XVRA5nD6M (youtube video of giger counter test on a bannana)

(not that what type of radiation also matters just counting tick does not really give you a good idea of actual exposure and typically if a counter messures in actually exposure then its callibrated for a given radiation source if i understand it properly... I would also recomend thunderf00ts videos on the subject as thoes are very informative and well made)

I think a real world nuka cola would totally sell

Far as I know this kind of tie in that I'm about to suggest is pretty much unheard of in the games industry (aside from maybe some Halo/COD cases), but it'd be awesome if, to get this done, Bethesda did a product placement/joint ad campaign with Coke to have a real nuka-cola made (or rather, coke in a nuka-cola bottle, maybe they could even add a cheap, small LED to the bottom of the bottles and make mountain dew and other drink versions to have different colors and make it glow).

They could also do a "mail your nuka cola bottle caps in to get cool fallout merchandise" thing. The whole idea of nuka cola being a real thing is just a good idea in general. The possibilities...

Good call fella.

Fantastic idea, hope it happens, collect Caps and save up for a pip boy Mk2, reckon 200 caps should do it. My whole family would be buzzing our preverbials off from the resultant sugar rush.

(But it would be MY pip boy - lol)

Well I already planned to buy a six pack of cola in the classic bottle for when 4 launches, so I definitely would not mind such a product run.

This reminds me of Eve's fantasy drink Quafe. Pretty sure they made and marketed it, at least at official Eve events, but it is very similar in properties and looks to Nuka-Cola Quantam and I remember during one Eve Tournament broadcast they put lights underneath the cups to make it appear to glow blue.

The shape is actually terrible. It would require special machines to dispense it. Packaging and shipping would require new procedures and crates, etc.

Honestly I'm still trying to wrap my head around why they changed it, unless they feared that FO4 would become so popular that Coca-Cola would take notice and want to sue them since the name, logo and bottle were similar. Now they can at least claim the bottle is totally different.
