PC version comes with only one disc

.bsa files are already compressed. most of its content is mp3 and images who is also compressed.

Game sized has expanded a lot because this generation can handle many objects and high definition textures.

Multi disc blueray games is not far of.

Blueray is rare on pc as most stream movies and download games.

The size used then install might be twice the size of the game because of serious bad install programs.

while my heart goes out all people that can fine answer to the size question,im just thankful i wouldn't have to download 50GB game like BF4/COD/Halo 5 that is 25GB/30GB of content and high quality stereo sound which all my headphones can do and leave 20Gb of Super Crasy Raw Uncompressed FLAC, ETC for surround sound behind.

yeah drive home the point blu ray drive sales on PC are so bad when i bought my PC build custom computer store the guy told me if intel vs AMD is 10 to 1 in sales for cpu's

then blu ray drive to DVD drive 30 to 1 and that's if customer here actually pays for drive to be installed and for drive it self.

so TLDR is if more PC people including my self bought blu rays drives this thread would be much more happier i think because publisher would be ok with releasing blu ray PC version.

Blue ray or 3dd dvd disks fair enough. But apart from buying it as a collectors item, who would buy it in its present form?
To my mind the majority buying this are people who are not sitting on a cable or fiber internet. People with poor internet, or expensive download penalties.
And they are buying it in the mistaken belief that it will avoid the huge download of buying the digital version. Why else?
And where are the warnings that despite buying the "physical version" you will still have to download 20GB the bulk of the game?
Are they displayed on the front of the box? Is there a warning on the Amazon or other retailers FO4 page? No.
Not everyone is as savvy to these things as the members on this forum. They see a choice of a digital download version, or a disk version.
They buy it, and only then discover that they still have to download almost the whole game. And maybe get to play it 3-4 days after everyone else.
And maybe after paying $30-$40 download penalties.
Could you blame anyone for thinking they had been duped?
I'm absolutely certain that this is against EU consumer protection laws.

That's why I bought the digital version, after I read the one disk crap.

Regarding EU Protection laws. These are country internals, has nothing to do with the EU itself.

Therefore: In germany, austria and switzerland is a consumer protection. You could try to open up a lawsuit regarding this method.

Result: Nothing will change, except a small line wich tells you "This game needs to download additional content in order to be playable!" and "This Softwareproduct requires steam to be playable!"

Lawsuit case cleared, nothing changed, they are safe. This isn't america ;).

But you could try to contact serveral media about such behaviour. Like we have the TüV or Stiftung Warentest. Those are independent testing facilities.

So it would be an image damage, still nothing will change ;).
