So when i first installed the update godrays worked like a charm and stopped drastically reducing frame rate, even on ultra.
recently however they began slowing the game (again) as before the patch, noted also the effect takes a pixelated look (as before)
this and for whatever reason the game got slower in general and harder to process even with shadow distance at medium and foliage distance scaled down a bit (especially in wooded areas, noticed particularly in the area around vault 111) the reason i note this is because this is something i never had an issue with before even with greater graphical settings.
so in my opinion it seems as though the patch fixed things partially but the problem with the launcher was not fixed and eventually reverted back to it's pre patch problems.
what i would like to see is some serious shadow rendering optimization and a more permanent fix for the godrays and the launcher settings. as well as (hopefully) some optimization to reduce the load on processors

other than that we have various texture and shading glitches popping in and out and meshing weird (only on particular save files though, once reloaded they stop)
as well as some weird flora/wind behavior where bushes and trees will "twitch' unnaturally.
some other little tweaks that would be nice (some have already been created in the mod community) the building system (placing things in particular) is hard to maneuver when you want to precisely place things (particularly the lack of being able to move the object closer or farther from you, moving things up and down). this and i find it limiting that even when it says its green and able to be placed, on many occasions the furniture and walls you try and place will be "floating" off the ground which ends up looking kind of funny. i'm not sure how that can be fixed? maybe having structures move with the couture of the land? or move through it?
another small thing about the workshop menu controls, perhaps change the control where (using a game-pad) to open the workshop from holding down the select button (which is also the third person camera adjust) to double tapping it instead, this way when in a building zone you can still adjust your third person camera without opening the workshop menu.
also, apparently someone in the mod community was able to achieve higher resolution textures than default while simultaneously using less V-RAM. that kind of svcks, that seems like the kind of thing a developer should be able to do for there game and not leave it up to modders to do.
