SPOILER-Car's Topic

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 5:20 am

:lmao: you would think after 210 years outside the sun,the car seat should have no leather cushions on them.

From what I can see, they look basically new with some torn side parts.

210 years should made leather seats basically none existing and only leave the metal parts.

Though cars do have glass on them now which some side are broken.

Everything is just made of the same stuff McDonalds use in their burgers.

Yeah, I figure most buildings would've collapsed by now as well without being taken care of. Must be things in the Fallout verse are made of sterner stuff!

You're going a little spoiler happy. Pretty sure car seats are fine to discuss without having spoiler in the title.

Spoiler

The following is a link to a Wiki entry on a now defunct publication from Bostons history. Ive been wanting to post it ever since they officially released the Video showing the second companion. Just a bit of Boston history for you....Basically if you do some digging from that point you stumble across a couple of coincidences

vinyl, mate, vinyl... :-)

(...and leather easily lasts 200+ years in a not too moist surrounding, too)

Ah but the car is indeed outside where the rain is and direct sunlight and not to mention the radiation storm on that area and the seat don't look like vinyl.

The beauty of video games, it can flip realism the bird if it contributes something to the game (in this case more interesting car models to look at)

maybe it is a coated leather. or mix between leather & kevlar.

Fallout cars may have some funky materials that are really resistant.

As people have pointed out. Fallout is a videogame and realism has to sit in a corner.

Becuase there's some picky people that don't want to know that cars have leather seats after over lil 200 years.

You forgot to mention "radiated beans".

Also the great war happens in 2077 where all this stuff comes from. Do you think we make no advancements in preservatives? Looking at our stuff now... :yuck: :D

Also it was interesting to see MRE videos on youtube where people tested very old food (Vietnam rations i.e. and even older) and are still alive and well  .
