Will your Character be roleplayed as anyone else?

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 8:10 pm

After seeing the leaked SPECIAL charts and deciding on starting a 1INT 5Luck character to play a lucky idiot, along with watching the season premier of Ash Vs Evil Dead, I decided to build an Ash lookalike for Fallout 4. I think it coincides pretty well.

Anyone else basing their character on another character whether another universe or real life?

I have 2 planned characters that are very similar to Carol and Negan from The Walking Dead. Very similar, but their names, looks, and backstory will be different.

I never RP as myself so, yes, my character will be some one other than me. Also, while a character of mine might be inspired by a real life person or pop culture icon, it will not be an exact copy. It will basically be "How would a character *like* 'X' behave in this universe.".

Maybe once I've exhausted my regular builds. If I did that, I'd like to do a playthrough as Mr. Rogers. I'd rock a Pre-War Parkstroller Outfit and use Charisma as much as possible to make new friends.

I will be playing as the Survivor, just like in FO 1 I was the VD, FO 2 I was the Chosen One, FO T I was the Warrior, and FO 3 I was the Lone Wanderer. I don't try to make my character look like anyone in particular.

I'm gonna make my guy look like Robert Downey Jr and focus on my intelligence/charisma skill. So when I put on my power armour I'll feel like Tony Stark becoming Iron Man.

Good one, Robokorean86, I can only imagine the mods to power armour to appear like Iron man already!

My characters are all my own creations. I like it that way, part of what keeps me coming back to these games is my little collection of people all in their respective worlds.

I do work from a character archetype when I design a character though, I haven't done elaborate backgrounds since I beat the restart disease. I often figure out more about the character as I play both through my own roleplaying and what the game tells me.

One of my characters will likely be called Sam "Mayday" Malone. He will run a bar called Cheers. He might be one of my first characters I create. I likely will create 10 characters on launch day depending if there are limits on the Xbox one.
