You cannot truly have a grasp of how big the game is until you play it yourself. Even if it was incredibly small, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Morrowind was much smaller than Oblivion and Skyrim, yet it is still arguably the best TES game BGS has made. It's also worth noting Fallout 4 is much more densely populated and there is much more vertical exploration in the game than previous BGS titles. Thus, it's absolutely ridiculous to try and compare this game to previous BGS games as their entire philosophy of exploration has shifted drastically due to current gen hardware. Of course, if people want to overreact and doom and gloom because they have nothing better to do... carry on.

And don't get me wrong, I enjoy 'walking across' videos, but after I've played the game.

We must see if any Bostonians can identify what they think are interesting Boston locations within the boundary of the revealed map. B)

Morrowind was the best game Bethesda ever made and probably will make. The thing is you had to walk everywhere unless you used teleport or a silt strider so the map felt much larger. Sprinting fast and fast travel makes maps seem smaller.

Sure, the pacing in Morrowind is slower because you don't run as fast, but the map is still clearly smaller. I don't use fast travel generally, but Oblivion and Skyrim are definitely larger. Again, size isn't everything. I want quality over quantity. BGS generally always makes a very compelling world, so I'm not too worried about Fallout 4.
