Question for devs regarding intimidation

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 5:55 pm

I was reading the perks and I noticed something. "Intimidation: With your gun aim at any human and gain a chance to pacify them." Does that mean that melee weapons can't be used to pacify?

I think it means when you go iron sights, or however that works now, it has a chance of making an oncoming enemy, depending on type and circumstance go "oh crap, uh...didn't think this through."

Exactly. That's what it says right, but melee weapons don't have iron sights. So how does that work?

I can't yell ya honestly, you know, six days till the big day, I might be able to tell ya, or you find out for yourself.

On the control scheme, with melee weapons, the iron sight button brought up defense posture...not exactly "Don't come any closer" or like "Please don't hit me"

Doesn't the left trigger 'raise your weapon' so to speak

whether you are in 1st or 3rd person.

It's the act of 'pointing' that will surely trigger the intimidation?

We'll know soon enough.
