Thanks but I plan to avoid all Fallout related stuff until release to avoid spoilers. Seems like Bethseda is done marketing.

I nearly ran into something on youtube comments, just caught an incredibly pissed off poster venting about what they had just read.

I think it is best to treat any social media comments section as compromised.

Why anyone would think it's fun to share the ending online, is beyond me.

I've seen a few thread titles on the Steam forums that purport to spoil the ending... I'll not put too much stock in the veracity of their claims, but all the same, I think I'll avoid those forums from here on. They're generally a pretty toxic environment anyway.

Rule of thumb about upcoming Bethesda games: DO NOT LEAVE THE BETHESDA FORUMS! This tends to be the only place without any significant spoilers.

No, its just the only place Bethesda doesn't have to pay extra for moderators.

There is NO moderators on Steams fallout 4 forum.

This big ticket item for Bethesda has the worst PR team I have ever seen.

Moderators here are volunteers - not to say we don't get some awesome freebies now and then, but we're not employees. Bethesda doesn't pay anything for moderators.

Honestly, I don't know what the setup at Steam is (I use it a ton but I don't post anything over there ever.) Any moderation on the Steam forums would be Valve's responsibility, though.

ya i hope what i read in a thread and as a thread title isnt true i mean sure i can understand the normal trolling like the other graphics things or the this game is [censored] cuz i know its all troll and i think the game looks great but to say the ending is just pure asshat move

Bethesda has no power over Steam forums. Those forums are completely Valve's responsibility.

They also have no power over Youtube. That is Google's responsibility.

The only place where Beth holds power are these forums.

I figured as much, though most moderators for any big game on steam are the Dev's as the moderators
