I have a question: I have a PipBoy edition on the way, but Gamestop says it won't ship here until after the 15th, but I want the game on the 10th too. If I buy the game and then register my Pipboy edition, will I gain additional steam Trading Card drops?

Are you asking if you buy the game on Steam at launch, play and get the Steam trading cards, then when your retail pip-boy edition arrives, you intend to redeem the steam key for that disc as well?

It doesn't work this way, you will just waste the second key.

No, you will only ever get the set number of random ingame drops. You won't gain additional drops

I'm not even sure if you'd be able to register a second steam key to your account as Steam will detect you already have it installed and likely would create a gift copy assuming it even allows you to register a key for a game you already have on your account.

I suppose, maybe, I could buy the game on launch, get that "Codsworth" Dota 2 soundpack, and then give the CE key to a friend and still get the Pipboy?
