I pre ordered the digital version from fallout but after reading a thread in here from someone who bought the game already from a small store i thought i give it a try aswell. I called a small store and guess what they said i can come and get it.

Now should i wait or buy the disc version? I hate disc versions tbh...

PC, you still won't be able to play till the release date.

Consoles, you'd be able to play.

I'd say go for it for 2 reasons.

1. You are supporting independent retailers. (I don't even know where there is a surviving one near my town)

2. Spoilers are allover the place now so you're better off getting your head into the game rather than having it accidentally ruined over the next few days.

If you're doing it for the sole purpose of getting it early I'd say it's not likely.

There are always the odd few that give it out early, but they aren't exactly everywhere.

If they say you can get it now why not i guess though.
