Are we able to stack piles of heads?

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 9:56 pm

In fallout 3 we could punch the heads off bodies and stack them, i was wondering if we can do the same in Fallout 4? Because I know it has the same engine as skyrim and i didn't think you could do that in skyrim

I've heard that we can't move dead bodies, but I can't say for sure that it's true. If so, might explain why they had an easier time with the censors this time around (I know that Germany in particular is touchy about being able to mess with corpses for some reason).

I hope so, a stack of heads could really tie the room together. I also recall one member on this forum who was really eager to craft a skin poncho out of dead bodies (in the game, thankfully)...

I haven't been bummed out about any of the leaked stuff yet...but if we can't move bodies, I'd be pretty bummed. I don't necessarily want to stack heads, but sometimes I like to "clean up my mess" and act like I'm killing secretly. If there's just corpses everywhere you can't really play the whole "innocent" card.

Yes, permadead corpse cupboards are handy but spoil your screenshots.

Thank you for giving me another thing I need to check immediately...

This thread reminds me of the murder mountain episode of squidbillies.. Maybe I am the only one who watches it though :)

I was watching a stream last night and the guy said he couldn't move bodies, but I never saw him try. He didn't seem too bright, so I wouldn't take his word as gospel.

One of the streamers I watched specifically mentioned not being able to move dead bodies but not sure about heads.

We should be able to place the heads of raiders etc on wooden stakes & place them outside our settlements as a warning to others :)

I hope so, its pretty likely. I remember the water fountain outside of Tenpenny Tower was covered in the bodies of the residents. After I sent my bullets on a vacation to their brains.

I remember playing Oblivion and not knowing it was possible until near the end of the game...so perhaps he is just stupid like myself.

I'm a bit confused. Is Bethesda's famous "grab" feature out, or does it just not work with dead bodies (allegedly)?

If we can still grab things, it seems a bit odd that we couldn't drag bodies around.

Better not be. As sick as it sounds, its an ability I like having. It has the same charm as when you're throwing stuff off the shelves looking for loot, or knocking over an item by accident and putting it back up in place. That level of interactivity with everything in the game world is awesome.

When it comes to bodies, I sometimes like cleaning a place up after a bloody showdown. Sometimes piling the bodies, laying a poor old hermit to rest in a bathtub, or placing a head on a plate as a warning to others (I was role playing a raider at the time, so I have my reasons).

Stacking piles of heads however sounds like an interesting idea to do to decorate your built settlement. Not too shabby of an idea. :disguise:

I'm assuming we can still grab bodies, but it won't be like in Dishonored where you sling them over your shoulder which I would prefer
