A complaint from FO3 that I hope is fixed in FO4

Post » Thu Dec 03, 2015 12:33 am

One of my biggest complaints about FO3 was how bland and repetitive many of the interior areas of the game looked. I'm really hoping that interior locations in FO4 don't generally look like copy and paste jobs of one another. What do y'all think--is that a reasonable expectation for the game?

I've watched some leaked footage, and the interiors look pretty good.

That was something that was slightly annoying in Fallout 3. I'm more worried about the quality and quantity of the quests, but this is something i will be looking out for too. I don't believe asking for more intricate interiors in the game is too much; I believe it's reasonable and something they've likely done.

I can′t say I ever cared too much about what the interiors look like. I′d much rather have more (interesting) quests with clear consequences and more unique NPCs.

Well I would certainly like to have those things as well, but I'm greedy and would like to have more diverse interiors too! :D

You mean you didn't love the municipal office peeling blue-grey paint with tiled floors everywhere? :P

Praying we can Zoom out as far as we want in 3rd Person -like in F3/Skyrim.

Vegas was frustrating for that.

We can hope:)
For mine part I thought the inns in Skyrim looked like they was part of an franchise, they all looked the same, perhaps an Tamriel version of burger king?

Two changes, first Fallout 4 has had an far longer development time than both Fallout 3 and Skyrim.

Second we don't have the 256 MB straitjacket from previous generations.

As in game and system use 257 MB and you crash like an airplane with negative attitude

Haha. It didn't bother me that much, but I agree with your point. It would be nicer to see designs that aren't always repeated.
