Having a bit of trouble walking properly

Post » Thu Dec 03, 2015 12:56 am

Would seem Bethesda have given me a bit of a hard and rough ramming from behind.

Says on the PSN store Fallout 4 pre-order page that expected download time for pre-loading is 9th November. Only 24 hours before the game becomes available to actually play.

Slight problem with this:

That speed of 2.16 mega bits per second will take approximately 30 hours to download. There will be no midnight playing for me. Would probably take another hour just to get the patch on the assumption its less than 1 GB.

Thought Bethesda said that it would be "a few days" before release that pre loading would be available.

This is more of an issue on Sony's end, not Bethesda I'd wager, and not to diminish your issue for you but a couple of hours isn't a big deal... once you get to play you won't even care anymore and it won't seem like a big deal weeks later.

Ah yeah, I have to work too so I get that. But maybe it's a blessing in disguise if you can get a healthy amount of sleep to rest your body and brain so you can be ready to play it after work and be awake and aware. :)

Keep checking. The suggested time isn't always the time they start letting you DL.

I'd love too but for those of us in the country that's not an option.

It's meant to be up to 20 speed. This area is a remote village. Did not even have Broadband until late 2007.

I hear towns and city areas are best to get the top speed ability.

Sony really needs to work on their pre-install system. For a few games I didn't even get a pre-install and no matter what, everything starts at 2.am for me.

If your PS 4 preorder includes physical disks, you can play as soon as you get them. No internet required.

I thought this would be Fallout 4 FISTO confirmation.

I'm really sad now :(
